I always work with Pro Tools HD 8.1.1.1. (HD2) in cause of Vocal Align. In the last years I upgraded my system to OSX 10.8.5 Mountain Lion and anything works fine.

But I would like to know if this Pro Tools HD 8.1.1.1 Version and the HD cards would also run on 10.9 Mavericks, 10.10 Yosemite or better on 10.11. El Capitan . Does anyone try this? I use a Mac Pro 3,1 early 2008, which can not run 10.12 Sierra I do not have the money to Upgrade my HD2 hardware to HDX and Pro Tools to 10/11/12 HD at the moment.

I installed ProTools 8.1.1. on a 10.6. SnowLion HDD years ago and later made a HDD Clone which got an Upgrade to 10.7 Lion, this later was also cloned and upgraded to 10.8.5 Mountain Lion. I always used the latest versions.

So I can say for sure that Pro Tools HD 8.1.1.1. works on three different OSX Versions.
